The Scene
The smell of stale beer and an overall lack of any particular decor marks this as another non-descript L.E.S. dive. Like other similar drinking spots in this area, the vibe here is strictly bare-bones--a place where the struggling and angst-ridden can get their drink on. Expect to see surly-looking, long-haired fellas nursing beers at the bar.
The Draw
The back room offers a pool table, a lonely row of rock band photos, original band gigposters and a solitary The Who pinball machine, while a jukebox offers strangely diverse choices from Def Leppard to Patsy Cline. Service recalls the East Village's pre-gentrification days: Bartenders practically snarl at you as you order your booze. The ultra-thrifty might sample the $5 "B-Side Beer/Shot," which serves up a watery can of Rheingold beer with a shot of the most throat-burning whiskey this side of Appalachia.

B Side is a great place to go to meet new people. When you walk in you immediatly become part of the family. You can strike up a conversation with one of the bartenders, the door guy, or one of the many young and hip patrons. This is a great bar to start your night at, to finish your night at, or to stay at all night.

B-SIDE IS CHEAP, FUN, GREAT SERVICE....YOU GET YOUR MONEYS WORTH! A GREAT PLACE TO START YOUR EVENING AND YOU STILL CAN GO OUT AND HAVE A LOT OF MONEY TO HAVE A GOOD TIME...THANKS KALEB!
