The Scene
This hot Hotel Gansevoort spot shines in high Miami glitz. The hip architectural style is a study in Asian-industrial aesthetics--texturized concrete walls, a black bamboo cage floating centrally in a shallow reed-lined pond, and a long sleek bar with amazingly light aluminum stools. All softly illuminated by lanterns and a red back-lit glow, this is a prime playground for sexy hotel patrons and the trendiest local set.
The Draw
Bottle service and $15 cocktails knock off any but the best-dressed. Though every eye is actively wandering, the experience ultimately depends on seating--singles flirt and mingle at the bar, duos quietly converse and observe from low pond-side benches, while groups lounge on the cage's cushiony couches or relish privacy (and bottle service) in costly reservation-only, gauze-curtained cabanas. Fruit-infused cocktails--like the sweet lychee sidecar or caipiroshka of fresh kiwi-chunks and lime--are clink-worthy.

Know Before You GoThough the door-people are surprisingly courteous, this is a guest list-only sort of place. Private parties make some nights improbable if not impossible, so it's smarter to call ahead.

The doorman is doing his job. theres no reason this place should be "dissed" by people who cannot dress up for dinner. If you were an owner of a resturant club, you would open your eyes to the fact, good looking people attract more good looking people... The place is great , (if it is your scene) if not, dont try making it your scene.. try going to a fastfood resturant. you will mostlikely be able to get in there :)

To the contrary of many users who have posted anything regarding Ono Garden. I had a magnificent time on Saturday night with my girlfriends, The staff was great, and the doorman was very polite and gorgeous :)!!!! I will definitely be back before the summers over... Yeeeee-haw
